Terms of service
Effective October 23, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Shor Consulting, Inc. ("Shor Consulting", "we", "us"), which operates Sendproof. They apply to the website at sendproof.dev, the application at app.sendproof.dev, the Sendproof SDK and companion app, and Sendproof's text messages and emails (together, "Sendproof"). By using Sendproof you agree to them. If you use Sendproof for an organisation, you agree on its behalf.
1. The service
Sendproof helps software teams test the messages their apps send. It captures, checks and, in live delivery, sends those messages to test recipients the customer chooses. Sendproof is in early access: features may change, and we may add, change or withdraw them.
2. Accounts
You must give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You may use Sendproof only to test your own apps. You agree that you will:
- add as a test recipient only a phone number or email address whose owner has agreed to receive test messages from Sendproof for you;
- never use Sendproof to send marketing, or to message your real customers or anyone who has not agreed;
- honour opt-outs, and not re-add a recipient who opted out without their new consent;
- not send unlawful, harmful or deceptive content, or try to break, overload or get around the security of Sendproof.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Your data
You keep all rights to your data, including captured messages. You give us permission to process it only to provide Sendproof, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to send us that data, including any personal information in it.
5. Text messaging terms
Program: Sendproof test messages. Sendproof texts phone numbers that a Sendproof customer has added as test numbers, with the owner's agreement, to deliver that customer's test messages (for example a test password reset code or order update), a one-time notice that the number is being used for testing, and confirmations of opt-out and opt-in. Customers' contacts may also receive alerts when a test number opts out or back in.
- Frequency: message frequency varies with testing activity.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop all Sendproof texts. You'll get one confirmation and no further texts.
- Opt back in: reply START.
- Help: reply HELP, or email [email protected].
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle mobile numbers. We never share them, or your consent, with third parties for marketing.
6. Plans and fees
Plan features and prices are listed on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price change to a paid plan.
7. Third-party services
Sendproof relies on providers such as email and text message carriers. We are not responsible for their availability or for messages they delay or fail to deliver.
8. Disclaimers
Sendproof is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Sendproof helps you find problems, but we do not promise that it will find every problem in your messages.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Sendproof in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if greater.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Sendproof at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Sendproof, and will give reasonable notice where we can. On request we will delete your data, apart from records we must keep, such as opt-outs.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts in Tarrant County, Texas.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post changes here with a new effective date and tell customers by email about significant ones. Continuing to use Sendproof after a change means you accept it.
